Colonel Serhii Mykhailovych Hryliuk

Col. Serhii Mykhailovych Hryliuk is Head of the Department of Psychological Support of the Main Directorate of Moral and Psychological Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since April 2014, he has taken an active role in the armed struggle against Russian-terrorist groups in eastern Ukraine and has organized a system of psychological support in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He is a bearer of the Order of Bohdan Khmelnitsky III.

Col. Hryliuk was born in the city of Berdychiv, Zhytomyr Region, on November 10, 1968, and graduated from high school in 1985.  Before being called to military service, he worked as a turner at the Berdychiv Machine Manufacturing Plant ‘Progress’ for a year.  He began his service in the armed forces of the Soviet Union on November 20, 1986. In 1992 he graduated from the Kurgan Higher Military-Political Aviation College and of his own accord returned to Ukraine, which had gained its independence. He was promoted from soldier to colonel, taking various positions relating to work with personnel. He is married and has two daughters.

Коротка автобіографія

Народився у місті Бердичів Житомирської області  10 листопада 1968 року. У 1985 році закінчив середню школу. До призову до лав збройних сил протягом року працював токарем на бердичівському заводі машинобудування «Прогрес». З 20 листопада 1986 року у збройних силах Радянського Союзу. У 1992 році закінчив Курганське вище  військово-політичне авіаційне училище та за власним бажанням повернувся в Україну, яка отримала незалежність. Пройшов шлях від солдата до полковника на різних посадах, які завжди були пов’язані із роботою з особовим складом. З жовтня 2013 року начальник соціально-психологічного центру Збройних Сил України. Починаючи з квітня 2014 року бере активну участь в збройній боротьбі з російсько-терористичними формуваннями на сході України. Організовує систему психологічного забезпечення у ЗС України. Кавалер ордена Богдана Хмельницького ІІІ ступеню. Одружений. Має двох доньок.
